Documentary revisited- Deanna M.

6:30 a.m. and the sheep are ready to be weighed and loaded.

Weighing them in now before they're loaded will give them a higher value, because they'll lose weight in the trucks.

About 4 of these large two rack diesel trucks will load sheep and head to California today.

The sheep are herded through.

This is Dular.

This is his 3 yr. here from Peru.

Dular has been herding sheep for 6 yrs. all together now in Utah.

Sun breaks over the mountain at about 7:35 a.m. Good thing too, it was so cold that the sheep had frost on the top of them.

Dular enjoys what he does. "I gets to provide for my family, also eh the dollar is more here in the United States."

Dular uses a plastic rod to swat the backside of the sheep when they refuse to move, which seemed quite often.

Some strays from other herds are found in with their sheep.

Dular helps sort them out which one don't belong to them, by looked at ear markings.

Then they'll toss the strays on the other side so they don't get mixed up.

9:10 a.m. All the sheep are sorted and ready to be loaded, but take a breather because loading them is a different story.
